Welcome to Northridge Elementary School
At Northridge, we are deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where all students can learn and thrive. Equally important, strong family partnerships are key to our students’ success. School Site Council, active membership in the PTA, volunteering in the classroom, and chaperoning field trips are some of the many ways for families to connect and support our school community.

Applications for the State Seal of Civic Engagement are now open. This opportunity is available to 11th and 12th-grade students who are engaged in their coursework, show a solid understanding of U.S. and California government, have participated in one or more meaningful civic engagement projects that address a real-world issue and demonstrate a commitment to positively impact their school, community and/or society.

San Juan Unified School District hosted its Winter Art Showcase at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center, celebrating the creativity and talent of students across the district. Running from Dec. 1 through Dec. 13, the exhibit featured artwork from students in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade, highlighting a diverse range of artistic styles, mediums and expression.
